Ocracoke Writing Camp Testimonials
Two of my colleagues returned from Island Path Writers’ Camp so pumped up about writing that I, too, signed on, hoping it would give me just the jumpstart I needed. I cannot thank you and Kathleen enough for your great workshop. I have taken what I learned there to heart, and have been pleasantly surprised at how much it has changed my writing habits, and my life for that matter. I have written more in the past four days than I have in the past four months! I have placed a note with "Don't Die Guessing!" and "If you are at this computer and you aren't working on business and you aren't writing, WHAT ARE YOU DOING?" next to my computer. Not that that has been a problem since last weekend. I am writing from two to three hours a day now and enjoying every minute of it. Before, I guess, I kind of felt as if I was just wasting time or doing something foolish. The drive was there but my left brain was overwhelming.
